location issues detracted from the stay
city noiseearly deliveries
I found the noise from the city center very disruptive. It went on until 3 am. this made it hard to get a good night's sleep. room 33 is right above the kitchens, i could hear the staff and early morning deliveries. i really wanted a quiet stay, but these issues were too much.

I held my wedding here and the staff looked after us well. they secured our wedding accessories with so much care. the rooms were very nice and the welcome gifts were a sweet touch, which i really appreciated. the entire wedding flowed smoothly, and the meal was gorgeous. It was cooked to perfection.
we were positioned directly above a very loud wedding, this made it a little hard to sleep. i wish i had known in advance as a non-wedding guest.

the darwin restaurant provided an excellent tasty evening meal with generous portions. carol, aisling, and james delivered really good service in the restaurant. the chef deserves high compliments for the meal's quality.

the superior double room was quite roomy. friendly staff assisted with any request, i appreciated that. i enjoyed the breakfast selection with many options.
the corridors experienced some noise early in the morning. it slightly disrupted the otherwise peaceful stay.

fantastic city stay

i found the location ideal for exploring. the staff was very kind and helpful throughout my stay (especially when i needed directions). i also appreciated the excellent breakfast each morning. the cooked breakfast included fried bread, a nice touch.
the room became very hot during the night, and i could not open the window. the air conditioning then switched on and made the room ice cold. this cycle repeated throughout the night (a bit disruptive).

the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the town center. everything is just steps away, including bars, banks, restaurants and shops. the cathedral and tourist areas are also within easy walking distance.
